At Dry Creek Outfitters our mission is to provide our customers with a positive buying experience. Whether you are a beginner in the sport of fly fishing, or someone who was casting fiberglass rods when they were “the latest advancement in fly fishing technology,” we are here to assist you with your needs! We carry an abundance of top quality brands including; Sage, Scott, Winston, Rio, Scientific Anglers, Simms, Echo, Abel, Fishpond, Hatch, Redington, Galvan, Orvis and many more. We also have 2 walls full of tying supplies, and flies that’ll fish from the coastal rivers of Alaska to the warm waters of the Caribbean.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN...
Waaaaaay back in 1999, when cellphones were the new craze (and they weren’t even smart yet,) the Yankees finally won the World Series (for the 25th time,) and the whole world was coming to an end thanks to a few zeros, a couple guys from New York named Eric Loeffler & George Plew decided to open up a fly fishing store in one of the most unlikeliest of places-Tucson, Arizona. Fueled by a passion for fly fishing and a desire to make a living, they opened up shop at Broadway & Craycroft in the Williams Center.
Well as many small business owners know, there were trials and tribulations along the way, lessons were learned, some great adventures had, and many friends were made. George decided to move back to New York, the other fly shop in town closed allowing DCO to pick up some more great brands, and before he new it 20 years had come and gone and Eric found himself with a great shop in the River Center. Armed with a couple of guys (Pete and Mike) to help him out with that media and computer stuff, DCO has become your one stop shop for all of your fly fishing needs!
So now Eric and the rest of the gang invites you to pick up the phone or better yet stop by the shop, introduce yourself, and hopefully spend a few bucks! –you know, that whole make a living thing…
